What is Art Therapy?

Art therapy uses psychological theory and art materials to explore, name, and give a voice to the parts of ourselves that need to be heard and expressed. Art-making helps untangle thoughts, explore emotions, and connect more fully to our whole self, allowing us to live more authentically.
